Comment on Interior Secretary Predator Killing Proposal

It is rare for me to comment on political affairs. However, after reading an article posted in High Country News regarding Secretary Zinke’s proposal to rescind regulations banning predator control, I’m compelled to speak up.

Here is the link of the article in HCN.

In essence, the Interior Secretary wants to not only allow the taking of predators but would also allow inhuman methods such as hunting by helicopter, taking bear cubs and sows, spotlighting and more.

Zinke is trying to rescind current bands on hunting , “with no legal and scientific basis, minimal stakeholder involvement, and a hasty public process,” as HCN states.

The National Park Service accepting comments until Nov 5. Please consider adding your voice to stop this craziness. Here is the link to comment.
